Implementing Village Information Systems to Improve Public Service Delivery
Abstract
This study examines how village information systems affect the quality and speed of public service delivery in rural areas. A mixed-method design combining a survey of 240 residents with interviews of village officials shows that transparent, well-maintained information systems significantly improve service satisfaction (p < 0.01). The study identifies staff capacity and data governance as the main success factors.
